I am reading the book Eleanor and Park by Rainbow Rowell. The book takes place in the beginning of the school year in 1986 for 2 high school students. Eleanor is new at her school and is bullied by other people. She is not thin and has big red hair. She has family problems cause her mother is newly married to an abusive man who doesn't try to support the Eleanor, her little siblings and her mother. Park is an awkward, kinda short, yet attractive kid. He was nice to Eleanor on the bus by letting her sit next to him on the bus. She thinks she has beautiful brown eyes. I predict that these two will actually begin to like each other and end up having a lot in common.
