The Heart of the Sea Reading

 The Heart of the Sea by Nathaniel Philbrick is about the dangerous adventures of the ship, the Essex.   i like the book so far because the story is about ships and i find that interesting. The main characters introduced in the book so far are Thomas Nickerson, Owen Chase, and Captain Pollard. i believe that the characters are poorly developed and they could have been changed to make the story even more interesting. The crew of the Essex are about to go on the voyage for the whales and it is going to be a rough trip for them. The book is written from the narrators view about what the crew is doing.
