Crank

I have read about 150 pages through Crank and I am enjoying it thoroughly so far.  Though it is written in a weird way, I really like the way that the author articulates her ideas and makes it so that everything is easy to understand although its written in a weird way.  I think that Bree/Kristina really embodies what the book is about.  She is two different people combined into one, one with almost zero inhibitions, while the other is very guarded and would never do something as reckless as sleep with Adam or walk with the monster.  As the story changes to her living with her father however, Kristina is almost non existent and Bree is the only one who exists in that world.  And as she experiments more and more with meth, the monster, and Adam she becomes even more free and morphs into someone who isn't a good girl from a small town suburb anymore.
